Will I lose channel sync during the migration?

There's typically a brief overlap (a few hours) where you re-authorize Booking.com / Airbnb / Expedia to point at LinkandBook instead of Cloudbeds. We recommend a low-occupancy weekday for the cutover. No availability is lost during this window because both PMSes hold the same calendar.

Can I migrate guest history and notes?

Yes — Cloudbeds exports guest list, contact info, past stays, internal notes. We import all of it. Past invoices stay in Cloudbeds (you keep export access for accounting); new invoices generate from LinkandBook.

What about Cloudbeds Whistle (guest messaging)?

LinkandBook includes guest comms in the base subscription — automated pre-arrival, in-stay, checkout and post-stay emails plus SMS. You don't need a separate add-on.

In-house POS — does it really replace a separate restaurant system?

Yes for breakfast, hotel bar and pool/spa. For a full standalone restaurant inside the hotel, our POS handles modifier groups, KDS, split bills — same depth as Toast or Square. Charges post to the room folio if the guest puts it on the room.

Multi-property — does each property need its own subscription?

Each property is its own tenant on the platform. Multi-property pricing is bundled — you save vs. buying one subscription per property. Single owner login covers all properties.
